The exhibition will feature 10 photographs, all printed on 841 x 1189mm Hahemuhle photo Rag 308GSM. All pieces be framed and available for purchase.
The exhibition focuses on high-definition close ups of exquisite botanicas, using light and shadows to create a dramatic effect.
BRANSGROVE has over 30 years’ experience in the photography industry and holds a Bachelor of Design and a Honours Degree in Photography. She flourished as a photographer in New York, developing her penchant for shooting the weird and wonderful.
After photographing a series of artistic portraits in 2003, she was awarded Metro / Canon Young Photographer of the Year award in 2004.
Returning to New Zealand, her photographic interests shifted from predominately portraits, to the natural surrounds, leading her to present them at Te Ao Turoa exhibition.
“I’m interested in exploring nature in its finest detail and using photography to bring inspiring moments to life. My goal with Te Ao Turoa is to express the beauty we sometimes miss in nature – to bring these magical moments to life for the viewer,” concludes BRANSGROVE.
